but my friend laura has made a brilliant gif tutorial, and since she and I have very similar processes at this point, I will simply refer you to her.
if you have more specific questions, I do livestream giffing every now and then. if you try to catch one of those you can have your question answered there — I’m afraid I can’t answer all the gif asks I get. sorry!

I use The KMPlayer (link) and Photoshop CS4 (link) running on my Win7 PC.
once upon a time my theme was based on the tumblr theme ‘paperclip’. at this point it’s so heavily edited that it’s not recognisable anymore. I made every change myself with what css and photoshop skills I can scrape together and no you can’t have it it’s mine my own my precious he is mine and I shall call him squishy and he will be my squishyWHAT!?
YES. You can use my gifs as much as you want as reaction gifs, but if you repost them I willmake you into shoesbe sad.
also you are free to use my gifs in your sidebars, but a linkback would be nice.
Every gif I post is properly tagged with the actor’s name, the character name, the film or series it is from and also the episode number if it’s a series.
The system I use for episode numbers is simple. For example, if the code is $xx123 (the $-symbol is just for me), the xx is the shortening for the show (so spn for supernatural, dw for doctor who etc). the first number is then the season number and the second and third indicate episode number. so 123 would be season one, episode 23.
